"I have been doing family research on my own family for more than 30 years as a hobby and discovered previously unknown connections to the Mayflower and over 8 Revolutionary War Patriots. Using DNA testing at 23&Me, Family Finder, and AncestryDNA and GEDmatch and Genome Mate tools, I solved two brick walls for ancestors born before 1830. I am currently working on mapping my mother's genome using Genome Mate and solving the next brick wall using FTDNA's project management tool for an AUTOSOMAL DNA project. I was a beta-tester for Genome Mate and frequently answer questions on the Facebook site."
